
Edwardian 1.70 Carat Natural Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Ring, circa 1905
A striking antique yellow sapphire solitaire ring. The yellow sapphire in the centre – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is a bright greenish yellow. The sapphire is rubover set in 18k yellow gold and flanked by wide, reverse tapering shoulders set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds.
Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Currently size I (i) 1/2 (UK) or 4 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.
